  1. EDA stands for Electrodermal Activity whereas SCR stands for Skin Conductance Response
  2. From the AcqKnowledge home screen select: Open a graph file, Graph file on Disk, and click OK
    1. This will allow you to access files directly from the U: Drive


  3. Minimize all channels except the Channel 10 that corresponds to EDA by clicking on the triangle icon on the left hand slide of the channel number.


  4. Access the EDAPreference menu by going to Analysis→ Electrodermal Activity→ Preferences... & enter the following settings:
    1. Click OK
    2. Note: we can choose to Reject SCRs under 0% of max (Review Analysis Menu)

  5. Add a Dual Row x 3 to toolbar by clicking on the Pre-Set menu icon (triangle facing down)



    1. Change Min, Max, & Mean values to None


  6. Go to Analysis
    Electrodermal Activity and select "Derive Phasic EDA from Tonic" option from the menu

    2. Scroll down and select Channel 10 to indicate the correct EDA (SCL) signal

  7. The Tonic EDA signal (Channel 10) is now accompanied by a Phasic signal (blue) providing precise information on time-based changes in EDA

  8. Go to Analysis
    Electrodermal Activity and select "Locate SCRs" from the menu

  9. From the Locate SCRs menu, select Channel 10 as the Tonic EDA channel and select the Phasic EDA channel (Channel 7 in this example) under the Use Channel Option
