Here you have the option to customize existing filters and save them as new filters that will then appear in the dropdown menu of the screen above. You can see in the graph how these options affect your data.

Next, click “Define blocks” on the bottom pane. On the left half of the window, you define where you want your block to start, on the right, you define when it ends. Check the box for “Apply the following label” and name your blocks. Then click “Run - Step 1”, followed by “Save - Step 2”. If you have different blocks, you can apply them one at a time.

Next, click “Manage” to view the list of blocks you have just created. The list shows you the start and end time and the duration of the block. This is useful for reporting in publications. Note that based on your marker criteria, the practice tasks will also appear in this list. You can select each marker individually and click “Delete” on the side. In addition, if you did not create the markers in order (e.g. if baseline appears after the other blocks), you can click “Sort by Start”.

Automation

You can create a preset of block definition so you can quickly apply the same process to each new subject. Click “Automation” on the bottom pane. Similar to the previous strategy to create blocks, you can select start and end markers to create blocks and to name them. You can additionally exclude several markers at the beginning or end.
