Raw data

AcqKnowledge files are transferred from the lab (6th floor) PC to the W-drive (\\kea.nursing.ucla.edu\Raw Data) via USB drive.

We create the following folder structure:

Raw Data (\\kea.nursing.ucla.edu) (W:) → OSA2019 → CON5036 → Study 2 2020-09-28 [Phys] → Phys → 5036s01r01.acq

Raw Data (\\kea.nursing.ucla.edu) (W:) : this is the network drive where we keep complete data sets that have not been worked on

OSA2019 : one of our studies - select as needed

CON5036 : subject ID of a non-sleep apnea participant (“CON”trol). IDs starting with “OSA” are patients. All numbers have 4 digits

Study 2 2020-09-28 [Phys] : this refers to the order of assessments they have participated in. Study 1 was the MRI scan on September 19th 2020. They came back on September 28th to complete fNIRS and Physio, so those comprise their second visit, “Study 2”

Phys : The Study folder also contains subject information and a scan of the MOCA assessment, therefore, we add here a subdirectory named “Phys” that will contain the AcqKnowledge file and a Matlab file that contains a list of triggers for the fNIRS measurements

5036s01r01.acq : AcqKnowledge file, we will be working on a copy of this file, leave this raw data file alone
