Adding Sonnet Email to your Phone

Each phone will vary slightly; however, each should ask for basic information that is provided below.

How to:

• On your phone go to Settings and select "Add Account"
  
  • If there is an option, select "Outlook" account
• Where requested enter the following:
  • Your SON email address
  • Your SON email address password
  • Your username
• At some point your phone should request the following:
  • Domain
    • enter: AD
  • Server
    
    • enter: mail.em.ucla.edu
• You should then be asked to select what items from your SON email account you want to sync
• The account should show up on your phone like any other email account
• Should you run into any problems, contact SON IT to walk you through the process

How to on an Iphone:

• Go to Settings, click "Mail, contacts, calendar", and select "Add account"
  
  • Select "Exchange account"
• Where requested enter the following:
  
  • Your SON Email address
  • Your SON email address password
• At some point your phone should request the following information:
  
  • Server
    • enter: mail.em.ucla.edu
  • Domain
    • ad
  • Username
    • enter your username
  • Description
    • SON Email
• You should then be asked to select what items from your SON email account you want to sync
• The account should show up on your phone like any other email account
• Should you run into any problems, contact SON IT to walk you through the process
