Meeting with Paul 2/6/23

  • Using stress as a variable, can analyze how stress affects the brain utilizing brain imaging software

    • Potentially 2 groups: “high” stress and “low” stress individuals.

      • Groups are sorted via scale on Qualtrics survey

  • Measure of brain structure (specifically volume) in high stress vs low stress groups

  • Stress in two ways: perceived stress (survey) and physiological stress (heart rate variability)

    • Stress and its relation to brain scans and brain volume

  • Meet with Bea to learn kubios software to analyze heart rate variability
