  • CNAP Machine
    • Use main screen to set alarm defaults
    • Put arm cuff on one arm and finger cuff on alternate limb (so when you recalibrate you continue to receive a signal)
    • Set higher extremes so the alarms don't go off as often
  • Respiration belt
    • Place on subject so that it's not too tight but that it's firm on exhale
  • GSR
    • Use medical tape to close off gap on electrode around finger (create a tab to pull off easy)

  • ECG
    • Keep electrodes away from muscle
    • Wires
      • Red: lower left
      • White: upper right
      • Black: reference/ground

Questions & To Do:

  • What units do we want for temperature?
    • Celsius
  • What units for handgrip (I selected PSI)?
    • Not PSI (use standard units)
Do we want EOG measurements on both eyes or just one?
  • How to calibrate CNAP with DA100C?
    • KM is working on this
  • How to add rear digital channels (buttons pad)?
  • We need to redo the Valsalva setup (it asks a lot of questions that I couldn’t answer)
  • Are we still going to do inspiration?
    • Yes
  • Do we need to exfoliate for electrodes?
  • Do we want EMG on dominant arm? Or same arm for all subjects? What arm?

To get signal for handgrip:

At the front of the UIM connect a positive/negative monophonic jack output cable into the channel that is assigned to the Dyno Channel (Channel 3) and then connect this cable to our indicator box.
