  1. MRI scanner weight limit it 300lbs, however what you should note is anyone who specifies that they are between 275-350lbs

    • maybe this could be a patient characteristic that you add on confluence or google drive

    • Paul spoke about potentially doing a sub-study with these subjects on the skyra scanner  

     2) Maintaining consistent patient characteristics

  • today paul spoke about incorporating two new measurements into the study

A) waist measurement: measure at the widest part of their tummy, in cm, and possibly obtain in the physiology lab. Ask patient to breathe out & take that measurement

B) neck measurement: take the neck circumference, and research what the best way of taking this measurement might be  (from the collarbone or jaw)


                     Questions: How might patients be able to take this measurement themselves?

 

  • GOAL: With all our upcoming MRI scans we would like to maintain all patient characteristics consistent
