Some time in the middle of 2021, the skin temperature probe broke. This remained unnoticed for a few months. A few subjects will show a skin temperature around 12-14 degrees Celsius. This is not a real temperature measure and these subjects must not be used in analysis. Keep an eye out for such cases in Acqknowledge and please take notes about which subjects are affected.

Device not turned on

Here is an example of data that occur when the transducer device is TURNED OFF!

While the fluctuations are centered around 32 degrees with close to zero variability, surprisingly, we see a realistic temperature level and if the channel is autoscaled, this may look like a real signal. Please check the variability of your data.

You can see the completely flat line towards the end; this is when I TURNED the broken device ON!
