Artifact removal

An artifact can be a brief vertical spike or a movement artifact that can take any shape. In the example below, we have several artifacts. We can remove artifacts by selecting the channel, selecting a minimal part of the signal around the artifact and clicking Transform → Math functions → Connect endpoints

This function creates a new channel with the artifact removed. You need to use this new channel for the further analysis.

Then you go to the next artifact, select the area around it and select the latest EDA channel. Repeat Transform → Math functions → Connect endpoints

Repeat until all artifacts are removed. Keep the original and final channel but remove the intermediate channels to maintain a neat and organized interface/

To remove a channel. select the channel and click Edit → Remove waveform
