To replace a drive:

  • Turn off, replace drive
  • turn on, 3DM2, usually at http://localhost:888/ (login as Admin, default password is 3ware)
  • Management, Maintenance
  • Remove "degraded drive (new one)
  • Rescan - should see spare drive below on page
  • Select unit (check "Unit 0"), Rebuild, select the available drive, and it should be on its way.
