Delete swap space
Delete swap space
- Start the LinuxVM
- Start the Disk Utility
- Select the hard Disk (1)
- Select the Swap partition (2)
- Identify the "Device" (3); /dev/sda2 in the example below
- Unmount the existing swap partition using the device name (you will need to enter the root password, "data")
- Click "Delete Partition" (3)
- Confirm, and authenticate with root password ("data")
The swap partition is now deleted.
